Beyond Expectations is the title of a revised comprehensive strategic plan, originally known as Preserve and Progress, that was adopted by The Pines to assure that it remains one of the finest retirement communities in the region. This plan drives the day-to-day work of the administration and staff at The Pines.
Additionally, Beyond Expectations identifies primary funding needs, including strengthening our financial assistance programs, expanding wellness services including the creation of a part-time chaplain position, and enhancing the Pines’ campus through gifts to the Landscaping Fund.
Your gifts to the strategic plan bear fruit in tangible ways: In recent years, contributions have helped expand our Schramm Health Center and Jetton Community Center. Gifts also made possible the purchase of Chartwell property, and the creation of The Pines’ Great Gait Program (to help reduce falls among its Health Care residents), the establishment of the Employee Training Program, and The Pines’ membership in the River Run Country Club. Donors have helped to upgrade The Pines’ transportation fleet and purchase Health Center medical equipment.
