In honor. In memory. In a cherished tradition.

Commemorative and Memorial gifts provide a chance to thank or remember someone special in your life and assist The Pines in its charitable mission.

Commemorative gifts to The Residents Support Fund can be a meaningful way of celebrating a holiday or milestone of a loved one (including birthdays, wedding anniversaries, Mothers’ or Fathers’ Day.) The honoree will receive a special card and flower, noting that a gift to The Resident Support Fund was made to celebrate his or her special milestone.

To make a gift on line, visit our online donation form.

A Commemorative or Memorial gift to our Tree Program helps enrich the natural beauty of our community for all time. Donors can choose a tree from a list of locations and tree species identified by our landscape architect.

The Pines offers other naming opportunities for gifts of a certain level to its Exceeding Expectations campaign. A sampling of these include:

Resident Support Fund: Named funds in honor or memory of a loved one can be established with a gift of $5,000.

Health Care Fund: Enables the Health Care staff to purchase 'wish list' equipment and fund nurse training.

Entry Assistance Fund: Provides assistance (if the funds are available) to applicants in the community who have led a life of service but who do not meet The Pines' minimum financial requirements for admission to The Pines.

Landscaping Fund: The following can be designated in honor or memory of a loved one:

  • Enhanced gardens
  • Memorial trees
  • Benches and gazebos
